Opportunistic Feeder

An opportunistic feeder is an organism that will eat any food that is available. It is the opposite of a specialist feeder, which will only eat a very narrow range of food, sometimes only a particular species of plant or animal, and often only a specific part of such plant or animal. Examples of opportunistic feeders include rats, cane toads, goldfish, jabiru (a large stork) and largemouth bass.
