Environment Friendly

"Environment friendly" is a somewhat vague term that is commonly used to refer to goods, services, processes, laws, guidelines and policies that are purported to eliminate, reduce or minimize harm to the environment. However, sometimes it used to deceive consumers and others and becomes a form of greenwashing.

Among the ways in which products can be made more environmentally friendly are designing them to be more durable and easier to repair, making them biodegradable, producing them with renewable resources, and producing them locally.
